From time to time we see duplicated status changes or incorrect ones.
Could there be the option to reverse a status change, even within 1 hour?
@Sophie Chiswell and other voters: How would you want this to work and what should reversing a status change do?
@Mike Emery: Hi Mike - Currently we have an issue when using status change reports as if a user accidentally presses the wrong status from the list, there is no way to automatically exclude it from reporting.
What I had envisaged was the option to delete a status change instance on a lead to exclude it from reporting.
@Sophie Chiswell: Thanks. Do you have any automation which the status change kicks off? Any suggestions on how that should be dealt with e.g. a lead action or workflow sends an email to the customer/prospect? I appreciate your input.
@Mike Emery: Hi Mike - we build in safeguards to prevent emails etc sending if a status change is done incorrectly by adding conditions e.g. contact the customer on that status change only if certain fields are populated also
