Within workflows, allow for the delay of minutes and not just hours or days. This would allow for a lead to drop in and then say wait 10 minutes before an auto email goes out.
Nice one @Mike Emery!
You can now create automated workflows and trigger subsequent actions by minute and not just by hour or day.
@Mike Emery: This is brilliant, this is especially good for any users who are having email deliverability problems - we for example send 2 emails automatically as part or an action on a workflow, as both are sent at exactly the same time, I am sure this makes the email provider consider the two emails to be spam and fails the delivery of the second one - as of course, why would an email be sent twice from the same sender at the exact same second. I'll be modifying the delivery times on all workflows this afternoon to delay by 5 minutes for this reason.
Workflows only have a delay of 1 or more hours. Can this be updated to include seconds and minutes? There are some actions we're trying to fire off and the timing isn't quite right but an hour would be far too long a delay.
yes, this would be useful, also this would allow us to give the sales team some time (for example 5 minutes) to contact a new lead, before some kind of action is taken (e.g. alarm raised because no one has attended to it!)
This would be very very helpful. On occasions where you need to send someone two emails at the same time, this generally makes the email provider think both emails are spam and hides them from the Customer, having a minute or 5 minute gap would really help towards this problem.
Thanks for posting your suggestion, Michael.
