If the lead's Marketing Preferences set to 'No' this blocks all auto comms emails/texts/letters, not just those of a Marketing nature. We use workflows for comms which are relevant to the Lead's enquiry, not future marketing. I agree that Bulk actions should not send where pref's are No but suggest responsibility is with the firm. Workflow emails/texts/letters should be ok to send if Permissions are No - and the firm should add conditional filters (e.g. if Contact Permission Email = Yes) if they know the content of that workflow is of a Marketing nature.
